ILLINOIS CONCEALED CARRY II

Description:

This one day, eight hour course is the second half of the Illinois Concealed Carry 16-hour requirement. It is for applicants who have sufficient shooting proficiency to pass the required 30-round firearm proficiency test AND have previous training that meets the ISP requirement for the first eight hours.

Illinois Concealed Carry II will provide a review of the Concealed Carry Act (Illinois law), the required concealed carry weapon handling practice, a live fire qualification course and the training certification needed to apply for an Illinois Concealed Carry license. Students must be present for the entire 8 hours and meet all course criteria to receive a certificate.

WHAT TO BRING

A copy of documentation that shows you meet the ISP requirement for eight hours credit (Don’t bring an original, bring a photocopy for us to keep), a government issued photo identification card, hearing & eye protection, a pen and an outer garment that covers the handgun. SAFER USA provides SIRT training gun for in-class accuracy analysis, a firearm, holster and ammunition, and lunch. Please arrive 30 minutes early for registration
