The reality is we live in troublesome times. A significant portion of the
population views the successful individual as the cause of their lack
of success. Add to that the proliferation of drug-fueled crime and
the potential to be victimized is the highest in history.
The report of home invasions has steadily increased since the FBI first
used the term in 1995. Unfortunately, most jurisdictions still do not
report home invasions per se but rather report them as a reflection
of the crime committed by the criminal once inside the residence such
as homicide, assault, rape, kidnapping or robbery. One thing is
certain: the number of crimes committed annually continues to trend
upward with occasional downticks.
Statistics gathered in 2010 show nationwide there is a property crime committed
every three seconds, a burglary every 10 seconds, a violent crime
every 20 and a grave assault every 35 seconds. Every minute there is
a robbery and every two minutes a forcible rape. Despite somewhat
limited reporting we know every day there are over 8,000 home
invasions in North America resulting in 38 percent of all assaults
and 60 percent of all rapes.
Home, Airplanes and Yachts
If you own an expensive home, aircraft or yacht you’re vulnerable. If
you park your Lexus or Escalade in the driveway you’re advertising
affluence yet very few people take security seriously. Gated
communities and burglar alarms rarely have the ability to deter a
predator, most homes have easy access for a skilled criminal, and
both yachts and aircraft are typically extremely susceptible to theft
or vandalism.
In one flight department security audit I found the hangar door open and the
multi-million dollar private jet accessible to anyone who happened
onto the unsecured small airport.
Become a Hard Target
We bring years of experience to your home, flight or yacht department to
make recommendations about what you can do to make yourself a hard
target. No one wants to live in a steel vault to protect themselves;
our goal is to make you appear to a predator to be more trouble than
it’s worth. Some recommendations are very simple, cosmetic changes

protection we offer discrete firearm training including both
concealed carry and home protection. We can provide whatever level of
training necessary from close quarter battle tactics to teaching the
first time firearm owner everything necessary to safely and
responsibly purchase, own and use a firearm for personal protection.
Our training emphasizes personal safety while mitigating the
potential for criminal prosecution and civil liability. We will
provide highly tailored training in a very private, non-threatening
manner to meet the needs of the individual.
